The Reggae Bubblers is a Conscious Roots Reggae band out of St. Croix, Virgin Islands. The band has been in existence since 2001. The Bubblers have produced 7 CDs, with two more being released in 2007. Along with the Reggae Bubblers series, The Bubblers also pioneered the Black Starliner Volume series featuring various Virgin Island artists, all music played by the Bubblers. Reggae Bubblers releases: De Bubble Burst – released in 2003 was a single with 2 songs (Jah Love and Freedom). Give a Little Love featuring Cheech and Hayba, is a 13 song CD released in 2004. In memory of Tafari Maynard - keyboard, shot in the line of duty before CD release. Hills and Valleys, has 14 songs and was released in 2005. Live on Assignment is a live version of many of The Reggae Bubblers hits. This was released early 2006. Livin Up - released early 2007, is as amazing as it is inspiring and healing that leaves the listener feeling deeply connected with an uplifting message reminding us to respect and remember the prophets who came before us with their message of purpose in out journey. The Bubblers focus on the real experience of daily life in the world today and allow the listener to gain awareness of each ones own personal struggle as they unite their daily journey with their spiritual journey. Black Starliner series, Vol. I, II, and III are compilation CDs featuring some of the Conscious Roots Artists from St. Croix and the Virgin Islands, such as Ikahba, Xkaliba, Aaron Bull, Jordan, Meko Diamond, Heavenly Petersen, Jr. P., Massiah, Imo, Shadow, Sekhu, Revolution, Volcano, Positively Nelsons, Cheech and Hayba, and many more. All artists are backed up by the rhythms of The Reggae Bubblers. And soon to be released is the Black Star Liner Vol. 4. The next in the series.
